Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Shooper Store ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Shooper platform — an e-commerce service that lets store owners sell products through messaging apps such as Signal, Telegram, and WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data relating to store owners and their customers.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data:

  • Account information provided during sign-up (name, email address, store details).
  • Store content you add to the platform: product listings, FAQs, pricing, and similar information.
  • Order data, including order states and fulfilment information.
  • Messages exchanged between your customers and the Shooper chatbot on your behalf.
  • Usage and analytics data generated while interacting with the platform.

3. How We Store Your Data

All data collected by Shooper is stored on our own infrastructure. We do not use third-party services for your personal or store data. Analytics data is likewise processed and retained in-house and is not shared with external analytics services.

4. Use of Large Language Models (LLMs)

Shooper uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to power the chatbot experience. To do so, certain data may be sent to LLM providers during the processing of a request. This data can include:

  • Messages sent by your customers to the chatbot.
  • Information about your store: products, FAQs, pricing, and similar content.
  • Order state information relevant to a customer interaction.

We exclusively use LLM providers that operate under a Zero Data Retention (ZDR) policy. This means that data sent to these providers for inference is not stored, logged, or used for model training by the provider. Data is processed in transit only and is not retained beyond the duration of the API call.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. The only external parties that may receive data are LLM providers, as described in Section 4, under ZDR agreements. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third-party services.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, you can contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at: dpo at shooper dot store, or reach us via our contact page.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

8. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact our Data Protection Officer at: dpo at shooper dot store, or use our contact page.
