Your Data
Shooper is built by people who believe you should never be asked to compromise your privacy. But those are just words. Here’s how we treat your data:
We only ask for what we need.
Shooper only ever asks for information needed to provide services. This means customer information tracked is:
- Orders
- Payments
- Payment confirmations
- Support ticket interactions
- Chat history
Shops provide:
- Products
- Payment methods
- FAQs (if applicable to your plan)
Some website interactions and anonymous usage stats may also be gathered to better our services.
Nothing is ever gathered to linked to a person, distributed to third-parties, or stored beyond what is necessary. All we want is what we need to fulfill our role in the customer experience.
We don’t sell your data (ever).
Shooper uses one category of third-party provider: LLM services for powering the AI bot. These providers operate under strict Zero Data Retention (ZDR) agreements, meaning data is deleted immediately after processing and never used for training or further analysis.
All other customer and shop data stays within Shooper infrastructure. Every chat conversation is isolated, meaning there is no cross-context between customers and no data pooling.
We’re not in the business of making money from your data. We get paid for the services we provide, and keep it strictly need-to-know.
We don’t save what you don’t ask us to.
Order histories, chat data, and shop information are stored only while active. Once orders close and payments clear, you can request a download of your data. We delete it from our servers after—there’s nothing to return to, and you hold what’s left.
We’re not interested in being your data warehouse. Shooper is just the middleman. Where your records live is between you and god.
